|  | - A common Mistake many women make is spending too much time in the gym doing LONG, MODERATE intensity "cardio" workouts. This is the "cardio queen" who spends 45-60 minutes on the treeadmill or elliptical. But long cardio sessions at a "moderate" pace are time consuming and inefficient. 1 minute of High Intensity Training is equal to 2 minutes of moderate training. And long extended cardio sessions break down muscle tissue.
- Spot Treatment of troubled areas is impossible. It doesn't matter how many crunches you do, you cannot TARGET an area of fat, you can only tighten the muscle underneath it. You must reduce fat throughout your body, and full body, high intensity workouts is the best way to do that.
- Often times many woman shy away from training with weights or they do not use weights that are heavy enough due to a fear of getting "too big." This is a common misconception, women are not gentically engineered to make large muscle gains. Don't worry it won't happen...it can't happen with my "circuit style/high repetition" workouts!
